Chaitanyo Taschler was among Ra Uru Hu’s first American students, trained in fall 1993 in Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico alongside Zeno Dickson. At Ra’s first teachers training in Ibiza at the end of 1994, Chaitanyo scored 198 out of 200 and was awarded a life-long teaching license by Ra. In 1997 he built the first Human Design website worldwide at humandesignsystem.com — still active today and one of the oldest continuously operating Human Design domains on the internet. His chart archive at humandesignsystem.com/archive/ contains some of the earliest publicly accessible Human Design charts, including Ra Uru Hu’s personal chart using the birth time 00:14 EST. The departure from Ra’s institutional structure occurred circa 2000 following Ra’s 1997 introduction of the Four Types framework as absolute — a doctrinal disagreement, not a commercial one.
Chaitanyo’s role in the founding era was inseparable from Zeno’s — he was the designer, recordist, and keeper of the original archive while Zeno was the teacher and organizer. When Ra in early 1999 demanded that The Course in Human Design be incorporated into the international curriculum without crediting Chaitanyo’s years of design work, Chaitanyo refused. The confrontation ended with Ra shouting and slamming the door — neither Zeno nor Chaitanyo ever saw Ra again. In Ra’s July 25, 2003 “Misrepresentation” letter, Chaitanyo was named alongside Zeno. He continued maintaining the archive, the website, and the technical infrastructure through Zeno’s wheelchair years (2013–2020), editing her newsletters and supporting her work from wherever his itinerant life took him. He remains the keeper of what the manuscript calls “the original flame” — the archive of the system as it was taught before the interpretive overlay.
