The Voice on Ibiza

Primary Sources

This register lists the principal publicly accessible sources the book rests on, grouped by kind. It is a reader’s guide, not an exhaustive bibliography; specific citations appear in the footnotes to each chapter. The discipline described in the Note on Sources governs throughout: the load-bearing evidence is public and checkable, and where a claim rests on a single interested witness or on material that cannot be independently verified, the footnotes say so.

The founder’s own works and recordings

Ra Uru Hu, The Human Design System (“the Black Book”), New Sun Services Ibiza, copyright 1991 (generally given as 1992): the first publication of the system, including the Rave Charts, the Rave I Ching, and the Juxtaposition Unified Theory.

Ra Uru Hu and Lynda Bunnell, The Definitive Book of Human Design: The Science of Differentiation, HDC Publishing, 2011: the system’s principal reference work.

Recorded lectures, interviews, and seminars, circa 1993 to 2010, including the introductory “set lecture” delivered across many cities; the “Gray Courses” given in the German-speaking countries (the earliest surviving transcript from Munich, December 1995); the “Rat’s Tales” autobiographical recordings; the interview conducted by his son Loki; the late “last physical tour” basic trainings; the “Mystic Monologues” and Rave Cosmology materials; and the lecture “Neo-Narcissism.” These are catalogued, with quotations and placement notes, in the book’s source records. Each quotation was verified against the recording.
