Teaching focus

Richard Beaumont is a direct student of Ra Uru Hu who entered the Human Design System in 1997. Before Human Design he had a substantial career in Mind Body Spirit publishing: in 1987 he co-founded Kindred Spirit magazine, one of the leading international journals on Mind, Body and Spirit, which he ran as editor-in-chief for twenty years. During that time he interviewed Eckhart Tolle — Kindred Spirit gave Tolle his first Spiritual Book of the Year award — alongside Caroline Myss, Ram Dass, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Robert Monroe, and others. He holds a university degree in Pure Philosophy and had been involved in human potential research and self-discovery for years before encountering Human Design. He traveled widely and explored Eastern and Western traditions including meditation, Tai Chi, Aikido, and Gestalt work.

Ra Uru Hu contractually appointed Beaumont as Director of the National Organisation for Human Design in the United Kingdom in July 2004, authorizing him to represent the system in the UK under Jovian Archive licensing. His site humandesigncourses.com states: “The UK School of Human Design was contractually established by Ra Uru Hu who appointed Richard Beaumont as the director in the UK.” He holds exclusive rights to a collection of Ra’s early US lecture recordings from the 1990s through a contractual agreement with The Human Design Library — audio and PDF content of Ra’s early teachings not available elsewhere. He is also Director of Human Design Films Ltd, the company created specifically to film Ra’s teachings.

Beaumont has trained hundreds of students to professional analyst level across a 3.5-year curriculum and has taught worldwide: UK, France, Greece, Norway, Finland, Spain (including Ibiza), Australia, the United States, Canada, South Korea, and Hong Kong. He holds post-graduate qualifications as a Holistic Analyst, Rave Psychologist, Family Practice Analyst, Child Development Analyst, and PHS Practitioner, and is qualified to teach all levels of the professional analyst training. He also operates the Human Design Rave app, which provides access to multiple layers of Human Design knowledge with his own interpretive descriptions, and maintains a weekly YouTube channel.

Beaumont continues to teach and develop curriculum from the United Kingdom through his primary site human.design (formerly humandesigncourses.com). He has been described as having been “actively involved with Human Design for almost 30 years.”
