Teaching focus

Lynda Bunnell entered the Human Design System in 1999 as a student of Zeno Dickson’s New Sun Services America school, taking the Basic and Advanced Trainings by correspondence before attending the September 30, 1999 Analyst Training in Taos, New Mexico — documented in Chaitanyo Taschler’s preserved archive photograph, where she appears under her married name Lynda Stone. She is among the analysts Zeno Dickson trained during New Sun Services America’s final operating year.

Bunnell subsequently worked with Ra Uru Hu and was asked by Ra to become Dean of the International Human Design School in 2006. In June/July 2010 Ra transferred the school to her directorship. The IHDS About Us page states: “In 2010, according to Jovian Archive’s legal rights, the International Human Design School was licensed to Lynda Bunnell, Director.” Her own written account of the transfer — a letter to Werner Lessmann, circa late 2015/early 2016 — is one of the primary sources for the institutional timeline documented in /record Section 3. She has served as IHDS Director since that transfer.

Bunnell co-authored The Definitive Book of Human Design: The Science of Differentiation (2011) with Ra Uru Hu — the most widely distributed single-volume introduction to the system. She is the author of the Living Your Design Student and Teacher Editions. She was among the first IHDS teachers to deliver Human Design instruction online, beginning in 2005. In 2006 she reintroduced the Living Your Design Guide training program at Ra’s request.

Her role as IHDS Director places her at the center of the institutional history documented in this archive. The contractual relationships with national Human Design organizations, the delisting of founding-era national directors, and the current IHDS educational structure all operate under her directorship.
